Anxiety, have you had it since surgery?

Recommended Posts

My anxiety levels have been through the roof lately and it's all revolved entirely around work. I've always had stress from work but never so much anxiety. I was shaking like crazy, crying nonstop (so opposite from my usual self), and having horrible panic attacks. My friend said she had anxiety issues after losing over a 100 pounds. I'm just wondering if this is common.

I have always had anxiety issues, but now it seems to focus on my WLS. My anxiety is associated with the fact that I'm going to do something to stretch out my pouch. It scares me so much, that I worry about eating. So, I think if you're already prone to anxiety, I'm pretty sure it can increase. I hope you feel better!

Anxiety, depression, anger, sorrow, happiness, anxious! All in 10 minutes ! Mood swings are driving me crazy! Balled the other night because my embroidery machine quit working! And this too shall pass!

Depending on how long ago your surgery was, anesthesia can make you go through all these emotions. It can take a couple of weeks to get it out of your system.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
