Sliming 80% of the time..too tight?

Recommended Posts

If you are sliming about 80% of the time after taking 1-2 small bites, would you consider this a sign of being to tight?

I absolutely would say you have a problem. Have you had a fill recently that has started this whole process?

Sorry if I put this in the wrong forum.

I had a fill (somewhat aggressive) about 6 weeks ago. After 2 weeks in I feel like I slime 80% of the time after 1-2 small bites.

This makes me rely on going to soft/sliders/liquids. Eating Protein seems difficult. Because of this , my hunger is not being satisfied for 3-4 hours. Seems like I am getting hungry every hour & i been grazing though out the day.(making weight loss difficult) Im going back tomorrow & going to request taking out .5 cc. Maybe then I can get some Protein in & have satisfied hunger for longer than an hour. Guess this is a fine tuning for the green zone.

Can a moderator move this to the correct forum? Thanks & I apologize.

This sounds like the red zone -- I would get a small unfill immediately.

It's in the right forum now?

Yeah, you sound like you're too tight? What kind of slider foods can you consume safely? I usually ask people to open a can of Progresso or Campbell beef, veggie and barley Soup. If you can get this down easily you're not too tight. This is about the consistency you need to be chewing to. I chew Soup to this day but never get stuck on it.

Now, bread and sandwiches, minor stuck episodes 50% of the time. Tonight, overdone chicken bruschetta and a small stuck/slime episode. For me, it's eating too fast and big that brings on the sliming/stuck episodes.

Overly tight bands can cause a lot of damage. Don't sit on this for very long?

Yes, don't wait to get some Fluid removed. Sounds like you're in the danger zone.

Had to have .5cc removed due to coughing and sliming a bit but that seems to have helped.

Just removed .5cc See how that goes.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
