Ok so Saturday's dinner with hubby and friends was awesome! I ordered a burger and only ate 1/4 of it and half a cheesestick! It was so yummy and I didnt gain an ounce from it. So as u can see it is true we will be able to eat those favorite foods every once in a while. Its just all about Portion Control. We were there for 3 hours so I was able to munch on like 3 fries as well and thats it. My drink was a tall ice cold glass of water! LOL I told my 2 besties to take a drink for me.

Anyone had a nice going out to eat treat lately, if so what did you eat?

how do you add the weight you've lost each week? I finally added a ticker. I feel challenged on this site. the actual website is TOTALLY different from the phone app. been searching around and I can't find it. Thought it would be a good way to see what I've done each week since we've been faithful about posting it each week.

oh and my first two days back at work have been great. I've gotten so many compliments and a few people have asked what I've been doing. I felt bad for one girl who truly was asking for her own good and I might just have to approach her later and add that I had surgery. She was asking me like she needed advice. You can tell when people are just being nosey. I wish I didn't have such a guilty conscience! But another girl came straight out and said, "Did you have 'the surgery'?" I didn't answer and she said, "Or are you just exercising?" I said, "Oh yeah..." so I didn't answer either question specifically. I just can't believe people are nosey enough to ask you straight up. But whatever. So far, haven't told anyone at work that didn't already know before I went out and those people and I are friends outside of work and two of them had surgery themselves. I think I'm going to keep it to myself.....for now.

Oh and a huge NSV! my clothes are literally falling off, so I had to go buy some new pants for work and I went from a 22 or 24 depending upon the size to a.....wait for it......16! I just kept going to the rack grabbing a smaller size in disbelief! Wow. That felt great!!!!!!!!

OH and as exhausted as I was from not sleeping the night before work going over and over in my head if I had my Breakfast, lunch, Snacks, gym clothes, kids clothes, etc packed for daycare, blahblahblah, getting up at 4:30 am and working all day, I STILL went to the gym! I rearranged my work schedule today to leave in time to hit the gym on the way home before I have to pick up the kids. I'm doing it, people! Sorry, I'm a bit giddy. :)

Mysleeveid13 - are you referring to the recorded weight I show in my signature at the bottom of my posts? I don't think think there is a way to do it on the phone app. On the computer version, click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Click on "my settings" and on the left hand side you will see "signature" listed under profile settings. Click on "signature" and scroll down to the box where you can enter information and press save changes.

Mysleeve I dont think you should feel obligated to tell the girl the truth about your surgery. Of course its your choice but at the same time dont feel guilty for not telling her, you have a right to your privacy. Ive been working for the past 3 weeks and alot of people have asked me the same questions, except no one has asked me if I have had surgery. I tell them all the same, high Protein diet, no junk food and lots of Water lol

Today I ate curry chicken for the first time and I DID NOT handle the spiceyness quite well. Hubby loves to cook spicy food and since Ive never had a problem with the way he cooks I thought I could handle it. Boy was I wrong, good thing I stopped after 2nd bite otherwise I think I wouldve been kissing the toilet. Have you guya tried spicy foods as yet?

I actually have handled all spice very well. I think everyone's systems are different maybe try some more mild spices and then work up to the spicy!!

Thanks for posting the checkin butterfly. I know it's a crazy time of year for me! First time all day I've had to breathe!

1) height / weight starting our wls programs: 236, 5' 7"

2) weight day of surgery: 226

3) weight seven week post op / pounds lost/gained: I weigh 199.8, 2 pounds lost this week, 36 pounds total

4) goal weight-140

5) your biggest success this week: Getting under 200 pounds! I also went to old navy on the way home to replace my favorite pair of dark wash diva jeans. New pair is a size 14! First time (in a long time) I stood in line to pay and didn't hide the size tag!

6) your biggest struggle this week: I've had a chronic UTI infection for 4 weeks now. On round 4 of a different antibiotic. The current one is wrecking havoc on my intestines. I'm sure not drinking enough Water isn't helping the situation. Seeing the urologist tomorrow.... :(

2) weight day of surgery: 243

3) weight seven week post op / pounds lost/gained: I weigh 210, 2 pounds lost this week, 45 pounds total

4) goal weight:150ish

5) your biggest success this week: going back to work and having to buy new pants on my lunch. Started in a 22/24 and bought a 16!!! People have been complimenting me at work that I didn't even know that they knew me. 4 people have asked directly if I had surgery and one just assumed and asked how I was healing and if I was tolerating foods well. So long story longer....I guess it's showing!

6) your biggest struggle this week: sleeping and still have horrible reflux. I slept great before I went back to work and for some reason I'm only getting maybe 3 hrs sleep before that alarm goes off at 5. Boo. But...As sleepy as I am, I have gone to the gym and done 45 mins to an hour on the elliptical each day!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
