Resistance Band Exercises, anyone got some good ones?

Hello All!

I really need to exercise more than I am right now (walking to and from the metro isn't cutting it!) and I have resistance bands with a few exercises. I was wondering I any of y'all have suggestions? I don't want to spend $$$ on a gym membership!

Thanks!

Yo.

I have resistance bands too and they are great aren't they? Did yours come with a DVD? Mine came with a DVD with about 25 different ways to use them (over the door, between the door jam, or solo). I also found K- bands. You can use them on your legs when ur walking. Helps build leg muscles (and football players use them to help make them faster, my son uses them). I need to build leg muscles :).

You can do great workouts with little to no equipment. Squats, lunges, sit ups, push ups, etc all provide a great workout. There are free workout apps for smart phones as well as videos online. If you have an Amazon Prime membership, they have free workout DVDs available to view. I like Bloglates (online), Couch to 5k (phone app) and just started doing Jillian Michaels' yoga workout on Amazon. Most fitness stores also have workout posters demonstrating resistance band moves.
