6 months out/slow loser/stopped losing...

Recommended Posts

Tell me I will start losing again? I am worried that this is as much as I am going to lose. Ive only lost 50lbs in 6 months and I have stalled for the last 3 weeks. I admit that I am not making all the right choices and I have a hard time gettting all of my Protein and Water in lately. If I get back on track will I start losing again? Tell me its not over!!!

It's only over if you want it to be over.... Don't give up! Are you exercising at all? Even simply walking will make a world of difference.

"little" tough love

you know you are not doing everything right

get all your Protein first

try and watch your carb intake

little exercise is good too

helps you mentally feel good

you gotta get back on the program!!!!

drink your 64 oz of Water - push it!!!!

don't drink with your meals

don't drink for 45-60 minutes after you eat

as "they" always say "the sleeve is just a tool"

you work with your sleeve

and the sleeve will work for/with you

you can/will be successful :)

all the wrong things you are/were doing........

knock it offffff

50 lbs is terrific!!!! :)

everyone loses at different rates, but......

get back on the wagon, ok?? :)

its written all over your face that you want to do this :)

and i know you can!!!! :)

good luck

kathy

Hang in there! My weight loss amount went down after 6 months but I am still losing a pound a week. At this point you really have to make good choices and cut out as many carbs as possible. They are a weight loss killer! Also make sure you are getting in 1 or 2 days of exercise. This will help also. But your loss should continue as long as you do these things. You got this! :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
