  1. I highly recommend full gastric bypass. I had Rue en y gastric bypass. The Band and the sleeve have so many issues. I had the gastric bypass which was done laperscoperly, with no issues and lost 120 lb. It's work. You have to change your eating and and take vitamins but so worth it.
  2. Yes. I had the same thing. It will happen. You'll loose suddenly. Right now your losing fat and I am sure inches. Try not to weigh yourself for a week and then only once a week. Keep doing what your doing. If really concerned make an appointment with the nutrionist at the practice. You will lose. I didn't drop anything for 2 to 3 weeks but I did notice my clothing getting looser. Your still healing and I am sure holding onto water weight. Also your calorie intake may be a little high for you. I took in about 300 to 350. 600 seems high. Check with your doctor. Also make sure your protein drinks have 0 carbs.
  3. Hi, I had my gastric bypass in 10/20. I lost 125 pounds and kept it off. However over the last year I started gaining quickly. Many things contributed to this mostly medicine, but was not eating as good as I was before. I wuit my job and took on raising my grandchild which put alot of slider foods in my house and not getting enough protein.I am having a revision next week. I am having a much harder time this round staying away from carbs. After my first surgery my taste buds really changed. I couldn't stand any of the protein drinks, and I was rarely hungry until late at night. I take adhd meds which keeps my appetite at bay. I have been trying to find protein powder and drinks that I like but still struggling to locate one. I am looking for a flavorless to add to food that doesn't taste gritty or chalky and doesn't change the flavor and a protein shake that tastes good.
