Back Pain anyone?

My surgery was February 10th 2014. Everything went splendidly. No gas pains from anesthesia, no pain period. About 6 days later I had this awful pain in my back......in the middle and it wrapped around to my ribs. Its strange and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced back paid - and what can you tell me about it.

Call your doctor, but it is probably gas...walking will help a LOT... the dr may recomment gas-x or something to help...this is not uncommon, but you want to make sure that is all it is...

good luck....

I'm having that right now!! Did it resolve? Was it gas? R u ok now??

I called the nurse at my doctors practice and she told me I might be eating too much or too much Fiber ..... I am 19 days post surgery so I can't imagine eating too much. I went back to the liquid stage and had to relieve constipation and so far ( knock on wood) back pain is almost gone. Ps the only thing food wise I ate was puréed Lentil Soup but she felt lentils are too fiber outs and could have caused constipation.

So many things to learn lol. I hope you are feeling better. How far out are you since surgery?
