Popcorn? When?

Just curious.. When did everyone start eating popcorn? How does it digest? I love light microwave and air popped. Is it in my future?

I would like to know the same thing! That is the one thing I miss!!

It is a slider food but i do partake maybe once in awhile not too often. no problems for me.First time was about 2 months.

My nutritionist told me it was on the list of "never foods" as it can cause a lot of problems. Nothing better than buttered movie time popcorn though.

Curious to what problems it would cause to a healed stomach. Did the clarify?

My nut and doctor allow it after 4 months. I have air popped popcorn several times a week. No issues.

I have tried it...But I am thinking it is a no go for me, at lease for now. It caused my pouch to start gurrgling and I ended up with hiccups....I have never had that happen before.

But it sure was good. My husband pops organic on the stove with a little oil and salt...tasted butter with out the butter mmmmmmmm

I had popcorn for the first time last night..... movie night with the family and let me tell you...... I had plenty ......more than my one cup allotment....I don't how much I hate not only for me was it a slider food but I never even felt it go through I could keep..eating eating eating eating eating ....I looked up and my bowl was empty..... it should be a 'never 'food for me....no issues whatsoever....

I too love popcorn now..did not like it before surgery...But I can eat a lot of it..so it is a slider food for me as well....I try to eat it rarely...... :(

Fits well and goes down smooth for me...dang!

I have had about a cup full. (also a slider for me. ) I was nearly 9 weeks out when I had it, and it felt fine. BUT the carbs are high, and the amount I want is HIGHER. And since it offers me no nutrition and possible weight gain, I will try to stay away.
