Need help with food choices and portions

Been banded 4 years but I feel I can still eat a little too much. Not sure if I need a fill ! I need ideas for high Protein Breakfast when on the go !

Triing to do salmon for lunches. My prob is also I can do bread with no problems at all. I want to looser 15 more and that's it. Been stuck the same weight for 2 years. Any suggestions to get some weight to come off.

I always tend to jump to the other side of the weight loss equation when I hear of people hitting a stall.....have you vamped up the exercising ?? Sometimes that helps boost the metabolism. Sorry, I'm not a breakfast eater, so I can't help you out there.

If you want to lose 15lbs then you are going to have to give up the carbs. Try Protein and veggies for a while. I myself do not recommend drinking calories because they don't keep you full but drink a Protein Drink for breakfast, have 1 ounce of cheese or greek yogurt for a snack, only veggies and meat for lunch and dinner. It will come off believe me.

i've been making Breakfast cupcakes for a Protein filled breakfast that will keep for at least a week!

here's an example of what they look like: http://carlahanaco.wordpress.com/2013/02/23/breakfast-cupcakes/

I don't use any flour or batter, just simply egg, bacon, veggies and spices. They come out perfectly portioned. i would make a tray and keep them in a freezer bag. When breakfast time comes, just stick it in the microwave for 20seconds, yummers.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
