Bandsters, What did you eat today???

Recommended Posts

Right, am doing the liquids only thing for the next 5 days, as that's what I've been advised to do!

So

Meal Replacement shake for brekkie,

Soup for lunch and another shake for dinner....

I might have a 4th shake if I'm hungry later, but I want to do as I'm told and stick with fluids!!!

sounds drastic! Why did they tell you to go on fluids only Anon?

Feel a bit better restricted since my last fill and find that I am not able to eat too much! Yipee!! So yesterday I had a jacket potatoe for lunch (had skipped breakfast! I know naughty!) and a chinese for tea, although I did not get through half of the meal! Great!

Today, 1.5 boiled egg and 1 slice of bread for Breakfast

will attempt roast chicken with carrotts and peas for lunch, not decided on tea yet.

Well today seems a good day, so far one carrot throughout the morning ( I cut it in small bits and keep it on my desk in a glass of Water so it feels fresh) and for lunch 2 spoonfulls of Pasta with half a breast of turkey. Hope this goes on! Feel much better now I am restricted again.

have to say Susan that, although some of your food choices are unfamiliar to me.... it doesn't seem excessive, how many calories does it total?

As for me well I'm WELL restricted!

Breakfast; two mouthfuls of porridge

Lunch; 1 walnut size piece of bread, 2 spoons of minestrone Soup...

Dinner; about 50g of salmon, and 2 bites of corn on the cob.... pb'd the lot!!!

bit later 1/2 ryvita with philly light and 2, yes I did say 2 glasses of red wine... as I type I'm feeling quite squiffy!!!

hope you're all doing well... I'm looking forward to standing on the scales this week!!!

Morning everyone!

What a busy weekend I've been having!

Forgive me, for I have sinned..... it's been easier to make bad decisions!

Friday:

Porridge with grated apple 4 spoons

2 ryvita with light philly and slice strawberries

..... got kicked out of house by son as he was having friends round for dinner! so went for curry..... 4 spoons of curry with one spoon of rice mixed in mostly sauce with one piece of chicken breast! oh and 2 glasses of wine, after which I was completely trollied!!!

Saturday;

Meal Replacement shake

100g chocolate at the cinema :o

MORE CURRY! about the same amount of a different curry, no wine tonight!

Sunday:

small bowl of oatibix flakes with S/S milk

Went to a pudding club lunch!

spoon of beef in beer 3 tiny new potatoes, one broccoli floret, dsrt spn carrots

... then a spoonful of each of the puddings on offer over the course of the afternoon....

Lemon mousse, chocolate mouse, summer pudding, gin and tonic jelly, spotted dick, and sticky toffee pudding! with pudding wine!

Surprisingly I had a taste for food by then so for dinner I had:hungry:

3 spoonfuls of lasagne.... then chocolate and a glass of cointreau!!!

The biggest surprise of all is that I got on the scales this morning and have lost another 1lb!!! :D:rolleyes:

Well, I've been fighting my band since I had my last adjustment!

Have struggled with 'proper' food and have resorted to eating crapola... ice cream and chocolate always goes down!

So today I'm back on the liquid diet.... shakes for brekkie and lunch then Soup for dinner me thinks... the others are having steak tonight and I just know that's not going to go down.... no way Jose!!!

Hope you're all losing... no matter what you're eating!

Hi Guys,

Sorry I haven't been posting for awhile. Been a crazy month, I still haven't gone for a fill (can't afford it :cry), but I am now officially a size 16! My food intake has gone up somewhat, so I definitely need to get a fill soon! Don't want to go up a size!

It'll be great catching up with you all.

Suzannexx

Sorry, not been in for a looonnng time! Been really bad and have put on 7 pounds! Oups! I have been living off junk. After my last fill, I thought all will be fine. It seems that I am restricted well in the morning but still not at all in the afternoon and evening. This is the time of day that I will be bad so not much good to me. My only hope is to save up and go back for another fill. I am thinking of changing my fill provider too.

Today I have eaten: Breakfast: sunflower seeds; lunch: green salad with ham and salad cream.

I am trying to have a good day. Wonder how long the good intention will last!

Big hug for you Brandy. Could you eat porridge in the morning? I find if I eat that it reakky keeps me filled up for a loooong time! I always have some currants mixed up with it. I have rice porridge due to having a wheat intolerance. Quite addicted to it now :)

I finally officially broke the 15st barrier now at 14.12! This time I intend to keep under 15 and get lower!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
