Wow, most of you guys are not eating much!! Here's my typical day:

Breakfast - 2 to 3 ounces of chicken breast, 2/3 cup cooked veggies, 1/4 cup stuffing or mashed potatoes

lunch - Lean Cuisine (the low carb kind)

snack - sugar free pudding

dinner - 3/4 cup Soup OR cottage cheese OR oatmeal

I work nights so by the time I get home it's time for bed, so that's why I just have something small for dinner, since I'll be laying down shortly after eating (which I know I'm not supposed to do). I think I'm eating too much...? I haven't had a fill yet and I feel like I could eat a lot more. I'm scheduled for April 6th, I can't wait!!

Dina, its totally individual. If you're losing weight then you're not eating too much. The more you can eat and still lose the better, nutritionally speaking.

What you've listed hardly sounds like a pig out!

Well I'm not losing a whole lot, I've lost 24 lbs, but that includes my pre-op diet before surgery. Since surgery it's been very slow. I think I've lost 9 lbs the past 4-5 weeks. But thanks! You made me feel a lot better!! ;)

For breakfast this morning I had about 1/2 cup of Honey bunches of Oats Cereal with about the same 1/2 cup of milk.

For lunch I had about 5 townhouse crackers with tuna salad. Also ate a Tillimook square of cheese.< /strong>

Snacked on some mixed nuts while surfing the net.

Dinner, was some T-bone Steak (a piece about 2" X 2"), a couple of bites of potatoes, and about 1/4 c. creamed corn.

I drank 3 bottles of Water today, and had several glasses of Decaf ice tea.

Should have worked some more Protein in, but was gone shopping for quite awhile today---will work on it tomorrow!!

Kat

today I've had

2 weetbix for breakfast

half a yoyo(cookie) and a coffee at MT

a yogurt, 4 Water crackers with cheese spread and a small banana for lunch

about six macadamia nuts

1/2 c spaghetti bolognaise for dinner

and I just had 4 more Water crackers because I just did a big run and I'm starving.

I had a fill today which explains the tiny dinner, I normally eat a lot more than that.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
