Funny you should post this...just the other day I realized that a woman I know actually believes in creationism. I was so surprised! This is the first person I've ever known (that I realized, anyway) who believes in the concept of creationism. She & her family left their former church because the belief was not embraced by the church or the congregation & they found a church that embraces the concept. Maybe it shouldn't have shocked me, but it did.

I was brought up a "creationist" so I know a lot of them. I ask my mom questions now and most of her answers are "because god said" lol ..useless conversation lol ...

LOL. I've spent the whole weekend suffocating under some serious southern baptists.

Funny story....completely related to my weight loss. While W Bush was president my preacher FIL mentioned in every sermon that being a good Christian meant being a good patriot and supporting your president. EVERY. SINGLE. SERMON. After Obama got elected, he never mentioned it again.
