Thanks Bea!!

Good morning everyone...

I think I hit goal-- lol I don't know if I remember what it was I think it was 193!

As of this am I am 192.8.... Again... I've been back and forth the past couple of weeks!

Bea thank you again for all u do- I don't know how u keep it all together... :) any chance of a st Patrick's day challenge. ;)

With St. Paddy's day falling on March 17 and Easter falling in April 20 this year, I think those would be REALLY good ideas (good windows of time) for the next two challenges. Great idea!

Just when I thought I was back on the losing track, I have stayed the same again this week....233! I know it is much better to stay the same than to gain, but I am playing by the rules. No one ever said this would be easy, so I will trudge onward! Next week WILL be better.

Ok everyone my weight today is 243 which is a seven pound gain. I don't know what I am doing wrong except for not being able to get all my liquid in. I can't keep going on this way because I am really freaking out. I'm going to the gym for an hour a day and let me tell you my body is letting me know because muscles are sore. It's a complete different work out then Zumba or just walking. Anyone have this happen to them I'm ready to go back to stage one diet. :( There would be tears with this but there wasn't one that should them.

I waited until today with hopes of a loss but no dice, still 145. The good news is I am losing inches/toning.

144.5 today. Not a big loss but I'll take it! :-)

Challenge start 288

Last week 282

This week 279

-3

I think it might even be a tad lower then that but TMI I'm a bit 'backed up' lol So I made my challenge goal of 280! I would like to revise it to 275. I've lost 9 pounds so far with this challenge and I know ill probably hit a little stall since I've lost so much, but think 275 is doable!

Can I change my goal? Think I had it as 199..but think 205 is more realistic.

Thank you Bea!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
