I am just nibbling off my husband's and son's plates when we eat out!

My refrigerator is full of 1/2 consumed Greek yogurt containers and plastic storage containers filled w/ Beans and chicken.

Yup that's about right. We went out last night and I got a half rack of ribs. 2 was all I could eat. I took it home and have been munching on it little by little.

Haha....yep, that's it! I usually try to pick a protein-y appetizer & ask for a veg on the side.

Every time we go out I always order a regular portion..got tired of waiters asking me if I did not like the food and or could they get me something else. Once even the manager came over and asked me what was wrong with the food...

I have a built in cleaning department with me and he eats most of my left overs before I get up from the table. The rest he takes to work the next day....

I think he loves that!!!!!!!

Feels normal to me now!!!!!!!!!

I share with my husband. I have become a very cheap date to take out for dinner. If I do have left overs, I get three sometimes four meals out of it.

did you come over to my house when i wasn't looking and take those out of my fridge!!!!???

i chose not to go out much cuz its too expensive, even though we get the leftovers

i'd rather enjoy my small amount at home

but..........Wednesday will be a big going out day for me!!!!!

going with DH and mom to tom hanks movie, then seeing the beautiful lights on the lakes ceremony (they do it every year)

then going out to dinner

mom and i will split a meal - will still have some of those boxes at home :)

27 lbs gone!!!!!

keep up the great job :)

kathy

congrats

Grammy, your post reminded me that I'm a little behind on updating my profile, by about 60 pounds or so :)

Which Tom Hanks movie? Captain Phillips or Mr. Banks? I loved Captain Phillips but haven't seen Mr. Banks yet.

hmmmmm

27 lb weight loss - thats great - what more could you ask for???

maybe having a 98 lb weight loss :)

good for you

holding the door for you to enter the century club

always room for one more smiling face :)

yep keep those profiles and tickers coming/updated

hint hint to others ;)

seeing the movie Mr. Banks with Tom Hanks et al

my 83 year old mom has told "us" no more sad movies

sometimes hard to find a good comedy (not a stupid crazy one)

this looks good - not total comedy, which works for me - "little" more serious side too???

keep up your ggggggrrrrrrrrrreat job :) (i know you will :) )

good luck

kathy

congrats :)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
