HAPPY ANNIVERSARY EVERYONE!

Today is May 13 - 4 months ago was "our big day".

Highest weight: 222

Starting weight: 211

Today's weight: 169

Goal weight: 135

Today I finally fit into some expensive designer dresses and suits that I loved in the 80's and have hung onto ever since - waiting to fit into them again. Unfortunately although they fit fine they look ridiculously out of style with huge shoulder pads etc - so out they go (along with all my size 20, 18, and 16 suits) to charity.

Time to start saving up for new clothes!

I can't believe it's 4 months already! I'm very happy. When I checked the other day I was down to 213 starting at 259. I'm happy. I know I have to exercise more but that's coming. Time sure flies when your losing pounds!

Hi! I was sleeved also in January. Down 40 lbs and feeling healthier than before...need to exercise as well. Choosing wrong foods sometimes just aching to eat what I want...but I know Protein works best for me! Best of luck. Thinking of all of you... ;)

I know!! Sleeved 1/13/14, so almost 5 months now. I've lost 83 lbs., but a lot more to go.

Canovasu - I haven't lost much this past month either. But I have a bad knee and can't exercise much. I found that eating more started my weight loss again. I was only having a shake for Breakfast, then 3-4 oz. Protein at lunch and 3-4 oz. protein at dinner. I added another shake after dinner and that seemed to help.

I started working out more and increased my Protein. I fell off for a few months but I'm back on. I bought a heart rate monitor to track my calories burned during exercise. Our 6 month anniversary is this week! Congrats to everyone. I hope to reach my goals... Staying positive and motivated!!!

Hi doneganregime1!! Can you believe it's 6 months already. I'm doing well, but I guess I was spoiled by that pound a day weight loss at first. I'm down to about 2 lbs. a week now, which I guess is better to lose more slowly.

Where are you in Missouri? I'm from St. Louis originally.

Heyyyyy mine had slowed down too. Had the longest stall. Think it's broken now. Back working out and eating Protein first. Hopefully I reached my goal weight. Staying positive!!!!

I'm in St. Louis now. Born here.

I'm still stalling here, but at my 6 month checkup the doctor was really pleased. If this doesn't break soon, he won't be happy next time!!! I always eat Protein first, very little fruit, no breads/pasta/potatoes, etc., a few veggies here and there. Not sure what the issue is. I'm drinking about 80 oz. of Water a day too. I can't do much exercise because of my knee. Maybe that's the problem, but not much I can do about it.

I was born in St. Louis too...down in the city near Grand and Meramec. Then I lived out in south County on Telegraph Road before I moved to Florida.

I'm at six and a half months and have been stalled for over a month. I am way behind on the tracker app I have. Worried I'm not going to loose more than the 50 I already have.

Hello Feeling Hopeful - I was stalled too for a month, so I went back to having just 3 shakes a day and a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. I did that for 3 days and the weight started falling off again. Try to just go back to basics and see what happens.

I might also mention that during this "stall" I was still losing inches, so I hope you've been measuring too.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
