Day 12: First day pain free! No incision pain or anything! I can bend, and even applied a little pressure that normally painful site and it didn't hurt at all! I feel great. No trouble with fluids. I feel normal again lol. Still no movement in the scale since day 7. Side note Glue on top incision is gone today. Healed nicely.

Day 13: I had another great day. No pain, no trouble with my fluids. I feel normal again! I catch myself forgetting I had it done. Tomorrow I should get the approval to move to phase 3. I am so excited to eat eggs and cottage cheese!!!! I decided to follow a Paleo way if eating for health reasons along with weight loss since I am able to get in enough Protein without shakes. My husband also wants to try it. So good things all around. No regrets.

Well that's it folks. 2 weeks. I feel great, 19lbs down. I'm onto stage 3 as of today and will post a weekly check in. So excited to eat an egg tonight! Best of luck to everyone. Feel free to ask any questions, I will do my best to answer them.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
