Homosexual Liberal Atheists ~ What's UP with that?

The Cool thing is when they come home and are all 'good to go':biggrin1:

My husband refuses the lapdances or so he tells me.:rolleyes He tells them that he is married and then the girls suggest that he bring me in. He does like watching them, though, and drinking beer.;) He also enjoys striking up a conversation with one of the other patrons while he is there. It seems that going to the Temple is very much about male bonding.

One day he took his dad and another old geezer over to our local strip club for lunch and nudity.:faint:

Before I took an early retirement package I worked for awhile on Bombardier's Global jet, their answer to the Gulfstream V, and the crew I worked with were mostly single guys. They used to regularly invite me to go to a strip club with them at the end of the Friday night shift. I never did go. I am not hardwired to enjoy looking at naked women.:tired

Har de har har....refuses lap dances? Bull hockey. You better watch that guy. While I don't like the strip clubs, a lap dance, with an enthusiastic lap dancer, is a sexual experience....make no boners....er bones about it. No, I wouldn't pay for one, but if offered, I'd accept.

I never flew a Bombardier airplane but I did fly Gulfstream IIs, and IIBs for years. My youngest son flies a Bombardier LearJet 45 and a Gulfstream V and 550. Corporate aviation runs in the family, only he ain't fat like his old man.

See, this is the part that is not fully appreciated. Enjoying some of these external stimuli, and then bringing it home to momma, is not nedessarily something that harms to the family or demonstrates lack of self respect.

Use of pornography and visits to strip clubs, within limits, can be entirely consistent with being a monogamous, devoted family man.

Hey guys, interesting topic. I believe that whoever mentioned a lack of self-respect was more concerned with the female dancer's lack of self-respect - not the gentleman who is enjoying the fruits of her labor.

I totally agree that a man can partake in all manner of external stimuli without it threatening his wife and homelife at all. Unless it becomes obsessive, that is.

I agree with airwayman that a guy who enjoys going to stip clubs is probably not a guy who would turn down a lapdance. In fact DH and I went to a strip club after dinner one night, with several other couples. Only one of us women had ever been inside a strip club and the rest of us were very curious. One of the husbands thought it would be hilarious to buy me a lapdance. The joke was on him. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not because of the sexual part of it, but because I wound up talking to the young lady for quite a while and learning a little about her life. As for her partial nudity, I am not turned off by female nudity. Unless she's fat and unattractive. Har-de-har-har.

Seriously though the thing that struck me that night, was observing the girls do their work and watching the men behave as if they believe the girls are truly interested in them. To me that was sort of pathetic. The girls are only after the guys' money. And the quicker they get it in their pockets (g-strings) the better.

I understand why guys would like to have a beer and look at pretty women, but after that short, informative evening, I'll leave the strip clubs to the guys.

Yes, boys, the Green grrl is very much inclined to agree. My findings come about after years of working in a man's world and after doing a lot of reading on the subject. :) Of course, I kinda did have to park a little piece of my ego at the door.:phanvan (And by the way, synical chic sounds like a practical grrl.:) )

As for the Lear 45, my mate has been sent down to Witchita to work on this aircraft in the past and he is now once again working on the Lear 45 wing builds.

Now it seems that Bombardier is going to be sending some of their aircraft work to Mexico City. An hour or so ago he phoned me up to ask me if I wanted to spend a month or even the whole summer in Mexico City. It seems they want to send him down there in order to teach the local folks how to build aircraft. The per diem is pretty good. I dunno..........???

I dont think it harms the family, but I have to say "no thanks!"

Don't get me wrong. I have gone to clubs with my husband, and I enjoy watching erotic movies or shows with him. But I would not want him to go out on his own, get worked up on his own over other women, and then come home and use me as an outlet. He can do that on his own, and then come and get me when he's ready for it to be a two person sport.

It doesn't even have to be actively about me. Not at all. I'm more than happy to just do things for him (because I get enjoyment from making him feel good). It's the principle.

You are probably right. But it seems to me that if a man is doing something that is good and acceptable and beneficial to the family, which I believe attending clubs can be, then there is no reason why a woman should be seen as sacrificing her self-respect by participating in the same thing. But then, that is probabaly a little bit overly-optimistic in the real world.

I personally don't think that strippers are lacking in the self-respect department. I mean, heck, if I had a wonderful body and could make lots of money off of it, I'd flaunt it, too. If that is what someone likes to do, who are we to tell them that they have no self-respect?

laurend: It's the objectifying by the boys that is demeaning - or can be. If a woman is happy doing that job, that's fine with me. I just wouldn't like for guys to have that leering, wanton, lusty, hot, sexy, pulsating., throbbing, craving for my body. OMG, yes I would!

Green: Two words: drug wars.

Haven't been inside the city since they banned corporate aircraft from Benito Juarez Int'l airport (corporate planes must use an airport far outside the city nowadays). The last time I was in the city my throat and nose burned the whole time...you have no idea how clean the air is up north but, if you go, you're "fixin' to find out" as my old TX born secretary would say.

I can kinda see how a woman wouldn't want her man to get all juiced up when he's all by himself and then come home to momma. I don't totally agree but I can see your point.

I, however, am in awe of you and my loving wife for being more than understanding and giving to take care of us horny men. She does the exact same thing....she does "things" for me just to get the enjoyment of making me feel good and happy. I try not to over do it but it SURE is nice to know all I have to do is ask. Keeps me in love, and perfectly satisfied at home. Of course, I alway ask if I can do something for her. On occasion she says yes.

Airway: It seems that he will be working in Santiago which is about two hours drive from Mexico City. This is an old colonial city with a population of about a million persons which is up in the mountains but which still gets real hot in the summer. I don't deal well with heat at all. I am more of a winter woman, a real Canuck, I guess. I also don't speak any Spanish except for a few nouns and some modifiers; all verbs are missing!

On the other hand, I do find Mexico interesting and maybe I might find a place which offers language classes. It seems that there will be a second group which will be sent down there in the fall. Too bad they want him to go with the first lot! I guess that is because he is a lead hand.

Further grief is that I will have to postpone my plastic surgery! This means that I will not have that opportunity to look identical to your first lady until the end of 2007, damn it!:faint: And I hate being mistaken for Pamela Lee A!:paranoid

Green is one hundred percent against drug wars.

Well, maybe she is for them if they bring the price of pharmaceuticals down.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
