DONT WORRY. I just started losing again too after a few weeks. I think I only drop 4 lb's then all of a sudden it started to come off. Your body is still adjusting and when you move into the different food stages your body have to adjust also. Just keep eating right and get some exersive and the weight will start coming off again soon.

It'll take time for sure. I had those few days too lol. My wife told me to stop worrying about it and as soon as I did I lose 5 lbs. We just have to stay positive. I have to keep telling my self Ive lost 50lbs in 42 days and that is still amazing. But like anyone I'm still going to worry about the next pound.

A month feels like FOREVER... I'm one month out from LB surgery and I'm down 13 lbs but given what I've eaten over this month I feel like it ought to be 2X that amount. Slow and steady that's what everyone says and it will come off and as my wonderful husband reminds me - it sure didn't take me 1 month to balloon to my all time highest weight (that was the day of my surgery).

So, keep on doing the right things and breath and I'm sure the weight will come off - at least that's what I'm believing.

Cheers!

My surgery was the same day as yours. I stalled out a week ago; actually went up slightly and have been inching my way up and down around about 4/10 of a pound. I think it's totally normal, if totally annoying. I noticed that things stopped going so fast when I moved from clears to full liquids. But the overall trend is still down, and like the posters above say, it took a long time to get up to this point. You got this.

I just posted my frustration on this exact same thing last night. I know all the research, I have read others' experiences. Still, it is upsetting to know all you have gone through to get here and only see a couple pounds difference. ( I have only lost 13lbs since 10/21 sleeve date) It is especially tough when you read posts from those who have lost 20+lbs in the same time frame. I just have to be patient, which is not my strong suit. LOL I keep saying to myself "slow and steady wins the race".

Roo, I lost my first 10 pounds prior to surgery, and it looks like you lost way more. I think it's normal that the big jump comes first and that we fight for each pound afterwards. I really only started losing in the 2 weeks before surgery. So it stands to reason that I would have lost around 20 pounds from 10/24 on. I really don't believe it will come off like this ever again. And as I think about it, it NEVER has come off like this before. I think I'm in this little bubble where all of a sudden I think a 10 pound weight loss per week is normal or something. Even MyNetDiary, which I am using for tracking, tells me that with the number of calories I am eating I can expect to lose about 1-2 pounds per week. Isn't that crazy?? It's such a huge change, and for 1-2 pounds per week? But on the other side of it, 1-2 pounds per week for a year is 52-104 pounds, or more than I actually have to lose on the high side anyway.

I think it's amazing that you lost 35 pounds prior to surgery, so give yourself a huge break! I have to believe that as we follow the program we will each eventually be successful.

I have to believe that because otherwise I'd cry.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
