My current scale has lost its marbles so I can't wait until my new eatsmart scale arrives

A few days ago it gave me readings between 168-177 with a mode of about 172

Today it was consistently reading 170.0 so I will go with that

5 months out vsg plus hiatal hernia repair (121213)

Highest 293

Surgery about 236-7

Goal 175

Current low 170s -- wowza!!

Thanks Deez I hope you are doing well these days and not suffering with past challenges. I'm 5'7" tall and I guess very "big boned"-- everyone says I look smaller but I don't think so. My thighs are massive trust me. I'm still battling gastritis and inflammation so diet is very restricted mostly Protein Shakes powdered Peanut Butter soy milk greek yogurt Beans eggs cheese and baked fish. I'm hoping things get better very very soon. Talk to you soon!

Another 2 pounds this week! And that was even with ANOTHER party at the local pizza place. Had 1 chicken wing, 2 pieces calamari, and the toppings off 1 Canadian bacon/mushroom pizza. About twice as much as I could eat last time I was there. Passed on the wine, beer and desert. Loving life.

Down 2 pounds this week. I'll take it.

I noticed a bump below my breast area on one side. My wife got really nervous, but then I noticed the same bump on the other side. Pretty sure this is the bottom of my rib cage, which is something that's not been visible for many many years.

Again, u look beautiful! Ty 4 asking, as for me, still challenging w the swallowing of everything, new meds, makes me more ill, but they promised out will go away w time, hopefully around 6 months which is next month for me and I just got choked our food stuck today, I just think I'm the statistics we read about and I'll probably have to learn to live w it, Idk. On a good now, I'm 60lbs down today, so as least I'm getting something out of the deal:/. I pray that your issues will subside soon, but you look fabulous. I'm 5'3ish, so to me I still look n feel chubby, others c the loss, perhaps I will too one-day:) God bless you, Deez.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?
