December 2013 Sleever Pounds Lost Log

Puttering along...

HW: 310

SW: 297

CW: 285

12 pounds in 18 days post op. With my starting weight I was hoping for a bit more this month.

I was blessed in being able to get all my Protein and Water in, and even some veggies and my soft diet from day 10. I'm on Regular foods now, doing great. I wonder if that's part of why the scale has slowed, but I suppose that's a good thing, though I am impatient!

Only other things I can do is add workouts to the mix to help speed things along. I began that yesterday.

Good luck and congrats everyone:)

So that's 16% excess weight lost the first month, when I look at it that way it sounds good...lol. I was just hoping for 100lbs the first six months...we shall see.

Honey, no worries. Ur doing amazing n its showing:). U have 5 months to reach your 100# loss in 6 mths, don't stress, cuz it causes weight gain. Just relax n let whatever happens happen. Remember its been many years since our bodies showed a loss such as is, so b patient and ur doing gr8, congrats!!! Now, when I'm impatient, u have to tell me the same, we are human, lol;)

Sleeved 12/31

I have felt great and done well with Protein and Fluid since the surgery. I got up this morning feeling good but about an hour ago started have a stabbing (not unbearable) right beside my belly button. I have my gallbladder, I did have a hernia repair with the sleeve.

I feel dizzy and just "pukey" but not really able to drink much. Any advice?

Is there an on call nurse or doc u can phone? Esp not being able to drink which is major for us. I'm 12/30/13. So if it were me, I'd def call som1, u do NOT need to get dehydrated. I'm praying that u get bettr, let us know what happens.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
