Just Prancing Around In My Size 2 Skinny Jeans!

Recommended Posts

As it turns out, I absolutely love skinny jeans and slim pants now! I'm a shortie, so it's really nice to actually feel "petite"! I've fallen in love with the skinny jeans and slim ankle pants at White House Black Market.... Very pricey but well worth it in my opinion. :) my thighs no longer rub together either! This is so fun.... Who else is loving being "little"? I think I could actually squeeze into a size 0.... Yikes, never thought I'd see the day! :)

OMG, I LOVE the WHBM skinny ponte trousers, I have three pair of them now (each is a little different of course ;-) )! LOL Mine are size 6, but I'm also a big girl. They are super flattering and comfortable...worth every penny. I do love skinny trousers and jeans in general cos I'm an "inverted triangle" shape -- 1-2 sizes bigger on top than on bottom...no hips. Alas...it's better than being quite heavy!

Awesome!

I have never been in that store. Next week I want to go shopping for a pair of really awesome date night jeans. I tend to wear dresses but sometimes jeans are j ust more "on target"

Yay for you!! I'll never be a size 2, but I do love WHBM! I got some things on sale there this weekend in size 12. I was just excited to be able to shop there, and it's NOT the biggest size they carry! I wore it to work today, and I was prancing in my size 12s like it was a 2 :)

Congrats to you, how exciting to feel good in your new clothes. I doubt that I will ever be a size 2, but I am loving getting into smaller sizes, the sad thing is I keep buying stuff that is too big for me! Then I have to take it back. Sooner or later I will figure out what size I am.

I've never heard of that store. They must not be out here on the west coast.

What are some other brands of jeans people like? I hate those stupid low rise that don't fit at the waist. They drive me crazy!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
