Hey Liz! You look like you are healing really well. And just like me, no bruising, and little swelling! You must be so pleased that it's all over, and went so well. Just remember to do as little as possible in the next few weeks in the way of lifting, housework (lol) and stuff like pushing shopping trollies (found that one out the hard way)

You look fab!

Hey Brandychick, cool name !! thankyou for your comments, ive had my check up and most of the scaring is healing well, i have a little bit leakage at the bottom, so still have to wear the corsett for a while longer, im on weekly checks so every thing should be ok.

I am told that the longer you can wear the corset the better the end result will be! ( my friend is a nurse)

I'm sure that your leaky bit will heal up quickly!

Did you have any liposuction in the end?

Hi anon, i think i will have to wear the corsett for a few more weeks, no i didnt have liposuction as its only 3 weeks today since surgery, i dont know if that will be a option further on in time or if i even want that, as i feel like my bodys had enuff as im still in so much pain, im just taking it day by day at the moment.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
