How long did it take for issuance to approve....I'm about to have things sent but would like to know how long and if the sleeve is covered...I have to go through a 6 month process for Medicaid and have done the seminar, head physician visit, dietician, preop class 1 of 3, and was approved by my health psychologist!!! And still waiting on financial assistance approval!!

Hi Im going thru medicaid also,my drs office submitted papers Dec 20 2013.Got an approval letter in the mail dated Dec 24 2013.Got a surgery date set for Feb 20 2014.Hope that ans ur question Good Luck!

I too have medicaid, my papers were submitted of Jan 6 and I received a call Jan 9 that I was approved for the sleeve my surgery is scheduled for Feb 5 2014, Keep us updated and Good Luck
