Is there a stall at 6-7 months

Recommended Posts

I remember the 3 week stall but is there also a big stall at the 6-7 month mark. I am 10-15 from goal and haven't lost anything in about 3 weeks. Just wondering if everyone stalls or am I leveling off? Hw was 232. Sw 218 and current weight 155. DOS 3/26/13.

hmmm, aside from the 'right after surgery' stall, I think the stall are pretty idiosyncratic! You have yours, I have mine!!!

From what my fellow March sleevers are experiencing. YES! I have been stalled myself for over 2 months now and keep going up and down the same three pounds. A lot of the other ladies are experiencing the same thing and we are not liking it one bit!

Patience, patience, patience damn it! Ever realized how easy it is to tell someone else that but practicing it is a whole other subject!

Good luck, I know it will come off but come on now, this isn't funny anymore.

Stalls can happen at different times and for different lengths of time. I've had stalls last almost three months!! So, I guess in answer to your question - yes, there can be!

Good to know I'm not the only one. Don't get me wrong I'm thrilled with the loss but just wondering if anyone else was experiencing it.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
