1st fill today....scared!!!!

I'm such a scaredy cat! Today is my first fill and I am soooooo scared. My doc has told me the procedure (no flouro), and makes it sound so simple and painless, yet I have really worked myself into a frenzy. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cindy, it really is! My dr. doesn't deaden, just tilts you back, finds your port, and a little pressure - it's in. Then he injects the saline, has you drink some water, checks how you feel, and you're out of there. (It hurts worse to get blood drawn.) You'll do fine!.:D

Thanks for the support and advice. I feel better now. My appetite the last couple days has ready picked up. Until then, it has been a breeze. Hope this helps the hunger........
