Question of Sleeve vs Sleeve Plication

Hello! I am new to this specific forum and joined because I have never heard of Sleeve Plication and have been looking at WLS for over 3 years now. I have been leaning towards the Gastric Sleeve, but I have a specific question regarding the Sleeve and Sleeve Plication. Aside from the obvious medical difference between the Sleeve and Gastric Bypass, I loved the idea of the Sleeve becuase it would remove the part of my stomach that triggered hunger. I tend to eat too much because I always feel hungry. Does the Plication Surgery help you to not feel hungry? I wonder because if that part is not removed, I fear I may over eat again and wind up back at square one. Can anybody tell me if you feel more hunger with one surgery over the other? I hope I don't sound too confused! And I appreciate any comments of anyone willing to reply.

Thank you!

You defiantly feel full full after a small amount of food . Which is a miracle if you ask me! If you search on the vsg forum many sleevers still struggle with hunger... Or begin to later on. I think it has a lot to do with your diet and what you are eating.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
