Haven't lost anything in about two weeks..doing a little snacking (Lindt balls, bites of muffins). Ate a bacon egg and cheese a few times from dunks (calories and fat aren't that high, plus has Protein so didnt think I was doing anything wrong), exercising. Just wanna get below 200 and get to losing 100 pounds. I'm at 201 right now and need 3 to get to 100 since November.

I'm just so fed up and disappointed in myself and sad. What are good Snacks? Meals? I just feel so lost and depressed..

Trust me when I say that your body will MAKE YOU fight to be in One-derland.

Try eating super high calories in one day. As .many as you can..this tends trick.your body into thinking its nolonger I starvation and you should see a decline in weight the following day.

Also... Try and cut out any breads, Pasta, rice and sugar until you break the stall.

Also... Enter your food into an app like MyFitnessPal. Maybe your carbs are too high.

Just a few suggestions.

When I am in a stall I switch up what I am eating, maybe replace a meal with a Protein Shake, and increase my exercise for sure. You may want to exercise longer or with more intensity. When you exercise are you increasing your heart rate enough to get into the fat burning zone??

If you use it on your phone. As as soon as you open it ... Click "daily" next to summary. It'll give you a tally on everything you've ate for the day.

Calories

Carbs

Fat

Sugar

Vitamin intake

And much much more.

I understand how you feel. Every time I go to eat another helping of refried Beans, I ask myself if this was all worth it. So far, the answer is a resounding yes! I have been trying to advance my diet slowly but I am having some issues with the way my body handles the new food. It's starting to freak me out that I will have to be on soft foods for the rest of my life ???? I will keep trying though and hopefully find something's that don't make me sick. Anyways, what I was trying to say is, keep your head up, no one said this was going to be easy, but the results will be all worth it in the end!

I totally understand being sick of shakes! That happened for me at about 3 weeks out. I am only 6 weeks out, but I struggle with foods as well. I just don't want to eat, and then the scale stops moving. I have discovered that Big Cheez its have 3 grams of Protein for 14 crackers. I like to spread laughing cow cheese on them and eat those. Crackers seem to like my pouch the best. meat is not so much my friend. I haven't thrown up with them, but they seem to get so big in my mouth! Yuck! I am not a big fan of greek yogurt either... too thick! I have added skim milk to it and that helps. But I usually just stick with yogurt that is only 5 grams of Protein.

I found some whey isolate shots of protein at the Vitamin store. They taste yucky, but they are only 3 ounces for over 20 grams of protein. I have added a half at a time to my Water. They aren't so bad then. I like egg salad on crackers as well, or meat and cheese on a cracker. Soups are a go to item for me, too. I try to add the unflavored protein inside them, but to me the unflavored is not so unflavored! It kind of gags me when I put it in my oatmeal or grits. I also eat Protein Bars about once per day. I have found one that is similar in texture to the cheap wafer sugar creme Cookies I used to buy.

I hope some of these things are helpful. Good luck on reaching your 100 pounds! It will come!

I eat yogurt everyday. That's my 'safe' food - it's the only thing I can eat without any trouble. I really like split pea w/ham Soup - 1/2 cup has 4gr Protein (not bad for soup). Cottage cheese, string chz, cheddar chz, laughing cow chz - I love chz. Soft fish - love tilapia. Hummus, Peanut Butter, meatballs, re-fried Beans, mashed cauliflower w/cheddar, three bean salad, grilled chicken (only if I run it through the food processor and add chicken gravy), sandwich meat rolled with chz (both your choice), scallops, chowder, broccoli chz Soup. And in a pinch I also do Wendy's Chili. :-)

I carry those little Handypacs of bread sticks with cheese in my car for times when I'm stuck out and didn't plan ahead. I even will pick up a cheap lunchable and just eat the meat and cheese, although a couple crackers wouldn't hurt.

I mean is It good ive lost 97, yes. But I hate cooking, I'd rather snack on graham crackers or string cheese. I'm so picky. And I work out on my elliptical but I don't go too crazy with exercise. I'm just..like I said everyone is so helpful but still feel like I don't know what the hell to do..

Yeah this way if eating is very boring. I really only eat the following on a daily bases.

Greek yogurt

Protein shakes

Shrimp

String cheese

Edamames

Homemade kale chips

Homemade cloud bread

Deli Turkey meat

Steamed carrots

Mangos

Slow cooked Beans and smoke turkey.

Oh ... And more Protein Shakes :-)

That's it on my list. Nothing else. I know ...Borrrrring, but I'm actually okay with only these foods.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
