An eagles fan? Is the grass green?! I didn't think you were allowed to live in the area and not be an eagles fan!

We were to Rochester to see if he qualified for the robotically assisted procedure in July. It was a fantastic experience and its easy to see why mayo has the reputation they have. I hope that the model can be duplicated because it really is the way healthcare should be.

My degree is in Paralegal Studies. I worked as a Paralegal for about 15 years and hated it. I am now the administrative assistant to the assistant superintendent of a public school district. I absolutely love what I do now. Nice to get up in the morning and be excited about going to work!

We do lot of cutting edge stuff that is for sure. the blend of research, practice and education (represented by the three shields) along with our motto "the needs of the patient comes first" says it all. :)

That is great to love your work. I am the same way!

Well, I haven't had much time this summer to check this site, but I still think about all of you often. I, too, am more hungry now and find I'm snacking too much.

I'll try to make my post quick as I catch you all up on my life.

I live in Raleigh, NC. we started here 23 years ago. We lived here 9 years, then St. Louis for 2 years, Oneonta, NY for 2 years, back to St. Louis for 4 years and now we are going on 4 years here in Raleigh again.

Are you totally confused?! Lol

My oldest son went to Chile in July to study abroad for a year. I am considering flying to Peru in December to travel a little with him.

I am beginning a new preschool teaching job. And I am the volunteer coordinator for my youngest sons marching band.

It's going to be a busy year. So thankful I'm 85 pounds lighter to be able to handle it all!

Hugs to all!

Good Morning friends!

We are off on a mini vacation today. Taking the kiddo to the zoo in Buffalo and then tomorrow is "kids" day and we are going to see the Buffalo Bills. Not sure how my child decided the Bills are his team... I'm a Cowboys fan and hubby is a Browns fan... oh well at least we all root for losers :) bwahaha

Then it's back to school! where did this summer go? and why didn't i get to experience any summer weather?

oh yeah I live in Upstate New York. I'm about 45 mins south of Rochester, NY. We've lived here since 2005. Before that I grew up in South Texas.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I'm Grace, I'm originally from Texas but have lived in the Nashville area almost 2 years now. Today is my 26th birthday and it has been the best yet! I am 14 months post RNY, highest weight 350 current weight 173. I am scheduled for my fleur de lis abdominoplasty and panniculectomy with breast implants on Wednesday! Happy birthday to me! I'm starting to get really nervous and now emotional as this has been such an incredible journey. I can't believe it's finally here! So prayers and good thoughts are appreciated.

Happy birthday!! You are a smart girl to get your weight under control in your 20s. I waited until my 40 and that is my only regret! I am having a circumferential lower body lift on 11/19 and am excited and scared. I considered the Tummy Tuck but I want my spare tire of skin gone. I I look like a sharpei puppy from the waist to my upper thighs. I am in a size 4 now and hope the surgery will make that look good. Good luck with your surgery and fast recovery! :)

Oh wow! You are soo tiny! I do ahe a lot of draping skin and my surgeon decided this was the best option for me. He says I'm actually quite petite under all this skin so I'm hoping to be about a 6 when this is done. I usually wear a 10 bc I'm uncomfortable with so much skin hanging,

My weight has always been carried in my belly for the most part. But anything will be an improvement of I don't have to tuck it in! I will post some pictures and let you know how it's going next week!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
