Ok so I'm promising myself to start a regular exercise routine tomorrow. I've been totally slacking on it and I know I'll lose more if I do. So tomorrow when I wake up I'm going to check this thread and remember that I promised myself to do this. 2 miles or more on the treadmill everyday. No excuses. Plus weights every other day. The only person I'll be letting down if I don't do it is myself.

My motivation post dde0a

I hate exercise! I started a Water aerobics class. It doesn't feel like exercise.

I love to swim but I've never tried water aerobics. I wish I had a pool close by. I suppose I could and swim in the ocean.

I just finished my two mile walk!!!! I'm sweating buckets. More then I used to, even before surgery. I'm so out of shape. But I'm going to do my weights tonight. I learned my lesson that I probably need to eat Breakfast or at least drink some Water beforehand. Ugh!!!

Debating if I wanna tackle Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred again or just make sure I walk every day. The overtime at work has been insane and the gym has become an impossibility. Somehow I've gained 2.5 lbs and I'm really discouraged and frustrated. I hope I'm just bloated or something because I haven't had enough Water the past few days. Ugh.

Please drink water before, during and after. After our issues with my son last week, I can't say it enough.

Excited to finally come home from the hospital today after 8 days. I had to have a picc line put in and 5 days of tpn, lots of potassium, and magnesium. Make sure if you guys know something is wrong to seek help from your doctor. I'm going home on 4 nausea meds, and am finally able to move to full liquids and I'm 7 weeks post op today.

Congratulations on surgery & I hope all is going well for you. I had surgery on 7/22 I came home 7/23 I now have only taken pain meds one time which was 26hrs after surgery &I feel much better today just a lol sore around neck from (breathing tube ) which is normal. I've been using ice (flexible) to put across the stomach area ,I'm surprised how well ice keeps pain level down although I must say I bought 6 ice packs so always have a cold /frozen pack even while sleeping works wonders.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
