Been there too, change up what you are eating, add more Protein and exercise more. We all have them, just stay focused and you will begin to lose again.

I was stalled for 6 weeks stuck in the 220s. I am jut breaking out of it. Change up your food/ exercise for a bit. It is completely normal. Just be patient. Your body is catching up with itself.

It is heartbreaking for sure!! I had a almost 8 week stall. Then had 2 months I had only lost 14 pounds!! But I lost over 50 the first month and now I am losing 2-3 pounds a week again and I will be 7 months post op on the 29th.

We will always have stalls, but never fear when it breaks you will see results...also you loose inches too....

up your Protein, drink more Water....walk more are just a few things I do...

Oh and I hide the scale too..for me in the beginning all I wanted to do was see daily results...Now I have taught myself..I will do what i need to do, and my pouch will do the rest I don't need the extra stress of weighing myself (This is just something I do)

good luck

I actually found that getting less Protein for a day and having more calories helped...I was stuck for 2 weeks ...also increased excercise ;)

I am four weeks out. Get liquids in, but usually Protein is between 25-30 grams a day. I just can't do anything more than that right now. I am eating about 2 tablespoons a meal, 4 meals a day. Probably 400 calories. I have stalled for past week. Is it too few calories or not enough protein that is causing the stall? Walking 2 miles each day.

Yes...you need more protein especially so early on...I'm 5mos post op and I held back on my protein for a day...but I was able to get in more calories. ..you however need to follow dr. Orders...get all your protein in...

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
