I had mine on 4/15. I'm the same way. There's days where I can't stomach anything just because I'm not hungry at all. I hear it takes a few months to get the "hunger pains" back

It's very normal. I wasn't hungry for about 3/4 months. Then my appetite return about 4 1/2 months but it wasn't like I can eat a whole lot. I can eat more now at 11 months post up but I never eat to the point that I'm in pain or full to max. I keep my self at a limit amount of food. Example 1 cup of rice or less 1/2 cup of Beans, and 1/4 meat or sometimes 1 cup of beans, and 1/2 cup rice, and 1/4 or a little more meat. salad 1-2 cups with meat on top. Takes me a while to drink a large drink. I can gulp down Water but I can't fit 8oz in one setting.

I'm glad to see I am not the only one that has the hunger pains back! It worries me but I know that I have control over it ... Just scary cause I don't want to give in!!

My surgery anniversary (1 year) is coming up this Wednesday. I have no hunger pains and I still have to force myself to eat the recommended daily Protein. Blessing or curse? Not sure.

I was about 3 or 4 months out before I actually could eat a variety of things and get my Protein in and was a little interested in food. So you are TOTALY normal :-D Even a year out I don't get actual hungry often and it's odd and almost unrecognizable when I do feel hungry lol It takes me a minute to realize what's going on :-)

The first week after surgery, I felt I was hungry. Was eating three meals and never felt full. This week (2) I have to force myself to eat something to get Protein in. So weird to NOT be hungry! Never thought that would happen to me! LOL

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
