Mine is a capsule filled with a really fine powder. It's awful!!!! If I had a pill and could split it' date=' it would be cake.[/quote']

My doctor changed my script to the tablets. Ask your doc!

Oh man. Day 20 post op and I feel like crap. The last few days I've been tired' date=' low energy, low blood sugar (light headed when I stand up). I'm eating right, taking all necessary Vitamins, getting in my 64oz of Water. I think this surgery is finally kicking my ass![/quote']

Premier Protein shakes at costco have 30 grams Protein per shake I drink 2 a day I just split them up so I can get it all in. The energy will thrive then ;-)

Thanks I see him Friday. I'll ask of that's an option. My pharmacy had to special order it so they may only be able to get the capsules. Idk.

Hey All!

For those of you who had surgery in June just like me and are having some troubles just stay positive and know it can always be worse. I have been in and out of the hospital ever since my surgery on June 26th 2013. I had emergency surgery on August 2nd to repair a hole in my new stomach caused by an ulcer that perforated my mew stomach. I have been home from the hospital for two days now and each day gets better. The worst of it all is that I am very strictly NPO for 8 weeks so my stomach can heal. That means absolutely nothing to eat or drink I get all my nutrients from my pic line that is attached to a bag and the contents smells like rotten baby formula. Each day is getting.better but please stay positive and remember it can always be worse.. hang in there

Courtney

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
