I'm down to a 14 tall from lane Bryant and just got a vera Wang shirt size large!! Bra down to 38dd. I can't express how happy I am and I've still got around 40lbs to go. What an amazing journey this is! No regrets.

They had a bake sale at work today to raise money for a coworker who lost a loved one and I had to be the one to organize the goodies and go to 4 floors to get the donations and dole out the treats. Plus they were all in my office for the morning. The smell were great. I didn't even have a lick of one! True test of my determination during this process! Everyone was very impressed with my willpower as was I!

I LOVE buying clothes now! I used to hate it, get depressed and be miserable. I'm trying so hard to wait on buying a lot since I still have more to lose. Down 50 pounds now!!! wahoo!

I'm not sure if this is a NSV but it was surprising. I usually put my hair bands around my wrist so I would have it handy. When I was overweight I would have to take it off shortly after putting it on because it would start squeezing my wrist. Today I realized I could keep it on all day but also when I pulled up my long sleeve shirt my hair band pulled up to my upper arm and I didn't realize it until I was looking for it to put in my hair. I guess my upper arm has gotten quite a bit smaller.

I had my 9 month post-op check-up yesterday. My surgeon (who I saw 2 months ago for an unrelated issue) walks into the exam room, does a double take and says "Holy cow! I didn't even recognize you! You look fantastic!"

so, about 6 weeks ago, i scored some size 18 (older and newer) jeans for $6. the newer 18s were a little tight, the older ones are at most today's 16s. i'm now in the "tighest" pair. i was last in a 16 when i was 16 lol. then my most awesome mil took me shopping. i'll post my first progress pic in that outfit when i wear it to her party :big cheesy grin:

In May 2014, I had just been to the informational seminar and was two days away from my first weigh-in required by Aetna, when I attended my nephew's wedding. I wore a snug 3X dress. I had my Gastric Bypass in December. On October 3rd,I will be attending my niece's wedding wearing a very comfortably fitting size 14 dress!

I just realized this yesterday....I work at a hospital and the employee parking is the furthest lot and it's down a hill. Daily I have to walk up the hill to get to the hospital and it just dawned on me yesterday that I am no longer winded or sweaty by the time I get into work. I am about 2 lbs away from hitting my 100lb mark since I started dieting last year around this time. Between that and the several spin and zumba classes each week I am feeling awesome!

Picked out and fit into a size 10 Jean from Costco! They don't have change rooms so you never know! I am super happy with the jeans, they are size 10 DKNY and were only 20$! post-256112-14431516273945_thumb.jpg

I went shopping for the first time since my surgery in December 2014. As usual i picked up the biggest size of a 22 and also a size 18, because I wasn't sure what I wore anymore. To my surprise, the 18 fit perfect, and I haven't worn a size 18 since I was 12 years old.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
