My back fat is gone! No weird fat roll being squished by my bra! And my double chin is gone. :)

I've got collar bones!! And I moved my bra hooks in a row and I can cross my legs again comfortably. I'm so happy to be getting my legs back. I always had great legs from dancing for 15+ years.

I love my collar bones! I keep touching them to find out if they are always there! Lol. When I run at the gym there is a mirror across the gym and I keep looking at my collar bones and thinking I am seeing things! I love them.

My sister in law gave me a size large summer dress and I told her it wouldn't fit and after a good debate, she had me try it on and it fit perfectly.

Right after surgery I thought I only had 4 incisions because looking in the mirror I couldn't see the 5th incision because it was near my belly button that was covered by my dropping stomach. Today I looked in the mirror today and to my surprise I saw the incision without moving my stomach around!!

-Today at the doctor, I fit into a regular gown, not the fat one. Also they used the regular blood pressure cuff.

-I can look down and see my girlie parts whereas before they were hidden by my gut.

-My collar bones too!

-When walking I notice that my upper thighs barely rub together anymore.

One of my coworkers said I needed smaller pants because I was swimming in mine.

I have been doing a 5k training program since about 4 weeks out, but I finally got in 4 one minute run intervals as part of my 3 miles tonight!!! 5k on Saturday night and another on August 10. If you have a Fleet Feet store in your town check out their No Boundaries program. It is a great way to incorporate exercise and meet some great motivators!

It's been sooo hot! I bought a bathing suit and went to the beach for a swim with my daughter tonight. Cooled me right off! I haven't done that in ten years! :-)

Don't really like the bathing suit but it fit. There's slim pickings in the stores right now on them. Back to school stuff is out already...

Ok this is a strange one. I have a speaker in my car that is blown and has been for awhile. It's in my center console. Up until now my butt muffled it so I couldn't hear it as much but now its the only thing I hear. So yea!! that I can hear it but boooo!! that I now have to buy a new speaker. Whatever tho, I'll spend $50 on a new speaker and be skinny. Lol.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
