Man i havent been on here for a while.

I am not doing all that well these days.

Sorting out anxiety and depression stuffs.

Back on meds for a month now and it has been a struggle. My weightloss is non-existent.

Just trying to sort myself out. Getting better is more important than the food and diet stuffs at the moment I feel.

Just a word of warning. Dint EVER eat corn off the cobb.

I nearly died a few days ago due to some um, obstruction business in the bowels... I was in the bathroom for more than an hour. Don't do it, ever!!! The pain and suffering is ghastly!

Hope you are all doing well ;-)

I miss you guys!

I have had a similar experience. I stopped taking my antidepressants cold turkey and about a month later it was AWFUL. I started having panic attacks and couldn't go anywhere where there were people. I've been back on them for about three weeks now and feeling much better but still struggling with some depression. I will never do that again! I hope you get to feeling better soon and I praise you for taking care of you:)

Sorry you've been having trouble. :(

I have been dealing with depression and major anxiety this last month too. What is going on?? Mine is caused by back issues and not working. Feel isolated from the real world. This last week ive been feeling better mostly because I finally lost enough weight to have my back surgery which is in 6 days! That alone is causing anxiety but not in a horrible way. I take meds myself but will go after my surgery if im not feeling better to get it up'ed or changed.

Note taken about corn on the cobb. I'll stay away! Glad u r ok.

Nice to hear from you my April friend and will be thinking of you and hoping things get better! ♥

Never never try to mess with anti depressants cold turkey or without dr supervision! It can do crazy things to you. If I miss the one I'm on even one dose, I get the crazy swishing sound in my head and i cant stand it. Cant imagine what would happen if I tried to quit. It is nice to know that im not the only one who suffers from this crap! Maybe we should start a "crazy april group". ;) It's not fun to feel these things. I hope you keep getting better my friend! Best wishes!

Yup,me too! In the hospital...just had the blocked graft in my neck fixed..one crappy procedure done...get this...a resident at the hospital started questioning why I am on "all these" antidepressants...VERY rudely.. I'm actually only on one for being "crazy" the 2 others are for sleep and Migraine. As if a pissant resident knows what he's talking about...he also didn't think I had lost much weight...he didn't know when I had my surgery, and didn't think 107lbs was a lot. Anyway, he made me seem fat and crazy...ha! I'm crazy only in the best possible way and getting skinnier by the day...just like all my April peeps.

Wow what an ass! What gives some people the right or makes them THINK they have the right?? I'll never understand. What hospital are you at?

How did the procedure go? Hope you are doing ok and heal quickly! You've had enough hospitals and bad stuff lately!

Well did your aim get any better? Pretty sure mine would have after I threw something to hit him with lol just kidding.

Hope the procedure went well. Hope it's 1 step to getting U on the mend and feeling a lot better. Idk what's wrong with people.... There are also the people who have never been overweight or had anyone close to them struggle and don't understand how it feels..totally lacking compassion. I think you should ask him if you see him again why is he such a smart dumb person. Smart enough to get into med school dumb enough not to be able to shut his mouth with things he doesn't know about.

Lost my mind! I have been nibbling candy some since Halloween. Never really much but I allowed myself to be foolish and do it. Its never made me but mildly nauseous. I had even complained about how doomed I was cause I was tolerating it and nothing seemed to make me dump. The thing is I had the tiniest pieces before and not at once. I've only had something I thought was dumping after surgery one time before but..I had 3 of those small pieces and wasn't long my heart was racing and I felt very ill. Just now feeling back to me but still have a pounding heart and feel icky. Got my wish! Apparently I DONT tolerate everything and DO dump. I am glad too! Maybe more straight & narrow now for me

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
