I went in for surgery in April at 316 and I now weigh 246. I want to get to 150. Do you think it's possible for me to loose 96 more pounds?

I just had my followup appointment. I'm down 72 lbs from April 2nd. BMI is 37 from 54.

I think I'd like to get to 190.

Excess skin is scary! Over half of my hair has fallen out....and I feel great!

Keep working hard~

I haven't tried any milk yet' date=' I've been a little scared. But I'm four months out now, so maybe I will try some. What are most of you using, real milk, rice, soy or something else? Would love some feedback. I make my shakes with Water and haven't done fruit in them either, and I'm getting bored with the plain ole shakes.[/quote']

I tried unsweetened almond milk and I thought it tasted horrible lol...wonder what everyone else drinks as well

Wow thats interesting!! <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> is that why your back and wrists are bad? Should I buy the Quest bars? Want to try but dont want to order them if they are bad.

I just picked up a couple from GNC and they were pretty good. I couldn't eat all of it though, so it was a meal and a snack for later.

I am done 68#. I am in a stall. I don't want to and don't eat. This husband with a girlfriend makes me not care if I eat or drink. I have this weird taste in my mouth.

My hair is falling out.

Take care of yourself, you don't want to get sick and feel even worse. We got your back here.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
