High weight and current. Not much difference since surgery' date=' but I can start to see some from the beginning of my journey. Note to self: clean hallway mirror!

Day 5 post op and I don't feel as good as I did a couple days ago. I'm tired and nothing seems to taste good, I find myself gagging on the Protein Shakes and seem to struggle to meet my goals for the day. I've been walking daily which is good, I just wish I had a little more energy. I ended up going and getting the muscle milk someone suggested, (much easier to get down) thanks for that!! On a happy note...Excited to be down 20 pounds since my Pre-op appt 11 days ago. :) hopefully I will start to notice it soon.

It is the only one I could stand to drink too! Today I tried the Cookies and cream one and I didn't care for it. Guess I better stick to the banana cream. I feel like I am eating all of the time but I am soooo thirsty! Congrats on 20 Lbs!! That is awesome!

So I woke up today feeling good! Decided to weigh myself because I havent in a few days. Just wanna see where Im at before my follow up Dr. appointment tomorrow. The last time I weighed, I was 291 and I was stuck there after only a week and a half! Today I am 285lbs. Soooo excited to see the scale move. Down 18lbs in 15 days, and a total of 55 since August. Feeling good about myself for the first time in a very long time. Hope everyone is feeling awesome and has a great day! :D

Heya

How you all doing? I am 3 weeks post op and I have to say I find this whole business much tougher than I thought it would be.

I don't know what to eat! I cannot stomach any porridge stuff so what to have for Breakfast? ? I am also lactose intolerant so I cannot have yogurt or any milk, makes me so so nauseous.

What are you others living off? I can feel that I am not getting enough nutrients in as I am very low and down. Any tips??

I've lost about 22 pounds since the op.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
