I guess I will need to temper my justice with mercy. I will leave my abrasive comments for the man section of this forum <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> . At any rate' date=' good luck on your journey ladies.[/quote']

No wonder you were so abrasive and insensitive!! You're a man!! That explains a lot! Haha! Just teasing you. I'm glad you are part of this forum. Welcome!

I am not having nausea' date=' though I have phenergan if I need it. Blue raspberry hmmm. Does it come in a can?[/quote']

I was severely nauseaous and Isopure saved me. Alpine Punch and Passion are my favorites. I'm on Sour Apple. I have dilute with Water because it is too sweet for me.

Good Luck finding what works for you.

I have a question I'm a couple pages behind so someone may have asked this already but what's a binder?

Hi, sorry nnaddour, I missed the question. It's like a ....girdle almost. It's a post surgical binder. i was considering buying one off Amazon. Like this http://www.amazon.com/ITA-MED-Elastic-Abdominal-Binder-AB-309/dp/B000WFR1WS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1366231131&sr=8-2&keywords=post+surgical+binder

Since I have that super sore spot by my belly button, my nurse is sure I pulled something, I'm ordering one in hopes I can stand working next week. Doesn't matter if I can stand it or not. I've got bills so I'll be at work bright and early on the 22nd!

Nella- before you buy a binder- have you thought about trying the "control top" panties? My nurse told me those work better and are a whole lot more comfortable than the binders! Plus a lot cheaper

I tried some. Unfortunately, I'm long waisted. They hit me in a sore area and seem to hurt too much! I was hoping they would do it and my Spanx don't seem supportive enough

Good gravy, I hope so. It sucks. I pulled something terrible. Wasn't aware it was there...but now we've been introduced. :)

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
