How hot are you guys? We've been between 90° & 95° for four days. At midnight last night the temp outside was still 85°. I hate summer!!! Can't wait till September! :-)

Me either!

We are at 96 right now' date=' and I hate summer too...especially when I have to cook....(sometimes I start dinner at Breakfast time smh to not to cook) lol[/quote']

Wow! 96 is hot! We've dropped off to 85 again once the sun started getting low and some clouds moved in (thunderstorms to the north). We're surrounded by Water - I'm a mile from the Westport River to the east, 3 miles from the Sakonnet River to the west and 5 miles from the ocean to the south. It's unusual for us to get so hot. I don't like it at all. I've always hated summer. Fall is my season.

I like to pick up a rotisserie chicken from the store on hot days. They're already cooked and make a great summer meal. The crock pot is good, too, if you want a hot meal but don't want to cook it on a stove. Then there's always sandwiches... Lol

I hope you get some relief from the heat soon!

My family got fried fish to close out an amazing weekend. We've spent everyday on the boat since the fourth. Went to Martha's Vineyard yesterday. So beautiful. Anywho, everyone got fried fish so I was good and got broiled haddock. Little did I know it came with bread crumbs on top and swimming in butter. I scrapped of the bread crumbs and blotted the fish on paper towels. Then I caved and had a bite of the bread crumbs. Big mistake. Felt like crap for about 45 min afterwards. Lesson learned.

It's funny you mentioned sandwiches, I just told my family they will live on sandwiches until summer is over lol. I love the fall too...

For me it's easy for me to pick up seafood and have them steam it and eat on that all day and still get my Protein in...the family well they are on their own...I have the ac on and the fan and showered 5 times already....ugh

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
