Someone needs to come pick up my scale!! I'm only 9 days post op and I keep weighing myself!! I like what I'm seeing, but I don't want to be a person that needs to see the numbers. I haven't seen my surgeon yet and I'm not sure how off my scale is compared to his and I don't want to set myself up for disappointment either... That's my rant for the day..lol

what is your neighbors phone number I will have them come and get it and only give it back to you on Fridays LOL.

I usually only weigh on Monday and Fridays.

I have a sister who ways every time she pees I think, she is obsessed worse than any of us could be and she hasn't had (or ever will have, acoording to her, wls) she is just always on some radical diet or another, As many crazy things she has done, it makes wls seem kinda mild. Right now I think she is doing HCG injections.

I completely understand. I weigh daily, probably at least 3 times per day but usually more. My doctor did tell me he does not want me to weigh myself except at his office but that is not going to happen. I am definitely a slave to the scale right now I am almost 6 weeks out.

I weigh every time I step foot in the bathroom, no matter the reason! And I write it all down, too! It's a great food replacement therapy I think lol my brother is in pharmaceutical sales and is getting me one of those fancy digital one like at the dr's office. I can't wait!!!

I have one of those cheap digital ones.... So I'm not sure how accurate it is...I need to invest in a good one...but according to this scale I'm down 12.2 or something like that.. I have it written down in my log in my kitchen!! I have my scale in there on purpose!..lol

I didn't own a scale until after Christmas, but I have managed to stay off of it. My main reason for having the surgery was for better health and the weight loss is the added bonus. Right now I am obsessing with the health. I notice so much every single day.....that is reward enough, for now!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
