One of my first soft meals was homemade (nonspicy) chili pureed in a blender---yum! Could just buy Wendy's Chili and puree that, too if you don't want a lot leftover. My family ate with me (of course, not pureed) but I did freeze some of the pureed for me to eat at other times. I did the same thing with my family (soup days) a few other times but just made sure I pureed my Soup.< /p>

Just started soft...pureed tuna with a little garlic and onion powder, salt and pepper with light mayo so much better than all the sweet stuff!!

Tomatoe Soup with milk a little italian spice and basil

cottage cheese and Greek yogurt.

I have added some unflavored Unjury to pudding, cream of wheat and yogurt. Wish I couldn't smell it.

I like the Wendy's chili idea and going to try that!!!

I see these as my staples for the journey.

I just started mushy food yesterday and I love cream of wheat. It is so good with a little bit of butter and splenda. I make mine with 1% milk for the extra protien. I think that has to be my favorite thing so far. I had homeade meatloaf with cauliflower. It was awesome and my fork mashed it up perfect. I haven't tried mashed potatoes yet. I am sure those will be awesome. I eat alot of broccoli cheese Soup. I have eaten some potato soup too.,.If you have enough food choices, you can get through. I just have to get creative.

I had sweet potato tonight and was fine. I had chicken from Tyson that is pre marinade Italian. I chopped up extremely small and made a Greek yogurt mayo dip for it from egg face website. So each piece of chicken was dipped. Yum.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
