I'd like to be friends on fitness pal, too, but I can't figure put how to add people unless they are Facebook friends or they are in my contacts. If anyone wants to add me my name is TheGrandma.

I'm not having any problems with it, but I bet it's just due to the hormonal changes that come with losing weight so quickly. Not that that helps cause I HATE breakouts! But maybe an answer at least.... :)

I was wondering too if anyone has had any issues with their periods either not coming or seeming to take it's good old time? I have had symptoms of my period coming for about 2 weeks now, cramps and all, but no dice. Anyone else's cycle change or get funky?

Oh, ok. This would be my first since surgery too. And did you get breakouts before with your period? Mine are always these little tiny zits in Patches if I get them. I rarely get one or two large ones anymore. I have that spot treatment that I will put on my breakouts for about 3 days or so and it seems to clear them up for me. Lemme look and see what it is I have exactly.

No... I wouldn't brake out... These are huge! It's only two, but they are right by my eye at the top of my cheek bone.. I did buy some zit zap crap today.. hope it starts to at least shrink!

How long ago did you have surgery...mine was 12/27/12.

I'm a little more than a week post op. Before surgery loved the Bariatric Advantage shakes and still do now. Yesterday I was able to drink two and they're 27g Protein each. Try those if you haven't yet. They're yum :)

I am only a week post op.. had my one week appt friday and wasn't expecting any difference in the scale. my last weigh in at the doctor office was 271.. and after that nasty drink my weight at the hospital was 267... my one week weigh in was 258. I also feel like I should be losing more. I asked my doc what I was doing wrong and he told me that I'm not doing anything wrong. normally if you have a fatty liver it can take from there first. and make sure your drinking and doing your walking as well. I just want more results then what I am seeing. I get so discouraged when I read other peoples stories of big amounts of weight taken off... but then again I think of the ability to be tightening up as I'm slowly losing and don't have to worry bout the loose skin as much. we need to keep our heads up and keep positive. best of luck

We had surgery about the same time. Your one week weigh in you lost 9 pounds! That's tons in just one week. I've done the same. That's amazing!!! Don't be disappointed. 9 pounds!?!?! :)

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
