That's great! I was at 313 day of surgery now at 295' date=' so I guess I shouldn't complain either, but I think we all just want this so badly to be successful and it's scary when you think maybe it's not going to be!! I seemed to have dropped that weight mega fast and now nothing, no matter how much I am not eating. But thank you for sharing. It's so nice to come on here and be able to share our concerns with one another! Well, here's to us starting to lose again! ;)[/quote']

That is awesome. That is one thing I told my Dr that I am scared of... failure. I've read stories of people failing with this new life style and I don't want to.

I haven't tried PB2. Does it taste just like Peanut Butter? Cuz I love PB.

2 lbs a day is great!!!

Gen :-)

Me too! If I fail at this I will be severely disappointed in myself! We won't though! We're all gonna do great!! Omg, I want a piece of Ezekiel bread with peanut butter on it. Mmmmm!! Lol.

Hope they get the nausea under control. glad the pain isn't too bad. Sending you prayers and healing thoughts. Please let you folks take good care of you when you get home and don't try to be the hostess with the mostness. Get your fluids in and walk when you can. You know the drill. Sometimes it is just easier said then done.

I can't find liquid Tylenol for adults anywhere. What is everyone taking for headaches and just normal pain not associated with surgery. I have a.killer headache this morning.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
