I eat alot of seafood. shrimp, talipia, salmon, lobster, crab legs. yum!! also nuts, cheese, yogurt, beans, tofu (I have not tried tofu).

TOFU! so yum if you cook it right. try the silky tofu in a Soup. My fav tofu dish I can't have anymore... deepfried tofu covered with sweet chilli sauce, pineapple and cucumber... nom nom nom. But don't do that.

and don't forget the humble egg. and fiiiiiiiiish

slowtogo... ignorant to tofu.. what is silky tofu? and how do you add to cream soups

I know I do not get enough protein in my food, and since surgery I am not a big meat eater anymore. I just drink my protein shake @ 50 grams of protein per shake. I usually have a yogurt and cottage cheese daily so I get about 80 grams daily.

Sorry kristy, I never saw this- silky tofu is really soft cream like tofu. You can use it like cream. Some people add it to pudding, soups for a creamy base or some Desserts. It helps boost your Protein and is flavorless.

My surgeon said the same thing. I try to get as much as I can in, then if it isn't enough come night time I have half of a Protein Bar.

Dairy products and cheese are good sources of protein, Beans, soy products. I'm really tired of meat also.

My surgeon also told me to stop the protein shakes, now i basically live in the fish market...snow crabs, tilpia, and salmon have been good to me :-)

Same here I live off of chicken and beef and fish some times ill mix it up and ill have edemame or greek yogurt or even eggs.

The only meat protein that I can hold down is ground beef. Nine weeks out and fish comes right back up (with the lovely foamies). Any suggestions? Used to loved chicken and fish...
