Ok my bariatric family I need your help with something. Many of you already know that I am a chef and restauranteur and I may be embarking on a new venture with the medical group that performed my surgery. Here's the deal:

I'm sure you've all seen Smart Ones, Weight atchers, etc. meals in your grocers freezers. How ould you feel if there were Bariatric-specific meals available to you in the same freezers? I'm not talking bland food either! I mean flavorful food that you'll love!

What are your thoughts? I'm even thinking of producing foods specific to the eating stage you're in

  • Tank....great idea!! You need a taste tester??? I feel like I eat the same old stuff all the time!

  • I think it would be great. I would say pack it with protein and low salt and sugar. Also please make some with regular sugar - some of us are allergic to the artificial sugar.

Crap.. What's wrong?

Not quite sure

Great idea when I first went shopping I remember thinkin why do they not have a section for bariatric patients or diabetics like they do for organics I wasn't able to locate or had to really search various sections of the store or go to multiple stores to get what I wanted also if you made frozen meals that would help so many ppl that are on the go or that have to cook for their family then for themselves I love organic gormet foods that are made from scratch you could always find a spot for good healthy food like that at places like whole food even if it is just tasty food that is bariatric friendly I would buy it

Great idea!!

I thought about that idea, but I did not give it a second thought. I was on a business trip and went to Walmart for some frozen dinners that I could eat and had a hard time finding something.

So good luck and God bless.

Tank you sound like you know what your doing. Great idea.

I can't offer much advise but get a good buisnes plan, secure capital, find a really good marketing firm.

Hey Paul thanks a bunch! Fortunately I have a fairly successful business with seemingly unlimited capital. Plus I have the backing of the medical group that performed my surgery.

Lol one is my Glock 7 and the other is my full-sized Springfield XD. I carry a sub-compact XD at work but am an avid collector and shooter. I've been doing long rang competitions and 3-gun competitions since I left the marines.

Feel better tank. BTW...what is it with men and guns? lol

Thanks for the well wishes! It's been a life long thing for me! My dad was a master gunny and I was a scout sniper. Lol
