U should have sold the list :-)I had them three times the morning after my surgery, Soooo painful!I just had my 4 week post op appt and Dr. Said I have NO restrictions - "the more vigorous the better, whatever you can handle".For reference, I am getting 0 protein. I do not feel exhausted, might just be me but I seem to do ok with my vitamins and liquids. I don't get to have ANY protein until 3 weeks post op. it is quite amazing how different each doctor's philosophy...4 weeks.I also had my surgery the same day as you, through kaiser hospital in northern California. We have been provided a very strict set of guidelines as far a supplements and food (an entire binder). But through this app I have learned that EVERY surgeon, hospital, insurance is different... And so far there doesn't appear to be a right or a wrong way. Listen to your Dr., your body, and let your future lab results to tell you if you need more vitamins etc!My doctor did a blood nicotine test on me both 30 days before surgery and 1 week before... Fortunately I have not had a cigarette in 3 1/2 years... It's so very hard to quit, best of luck to you all and stay strong!!!How many days post op are u?The gas is BEYOND my expectations! Anyone else??Rxremindme was recommended to me by kaiser. I am 3 days post op but have not used it yet. I am still just writing everything downI am also having my surgery through kaiser in northern California (Richmond) my surgery is may 21st!My surgery date is May 21st also!
