I found if you get like the vanilla cream flavored you can add frozen strawberries and cut up a banana and blend it. Tastes pretty good. Also if you don't want the sugar in the fruit get sugar free Jello mix and add just a Tad to each drink. You probably can use the sugar free pudding mixes to. And I use skim milk. Haven't tried with just Water. Not that brave yet

I have tried that before...loved it!! I also love adding cantaloupe...YUM!!

Do you have a Sams or costco card? Or know someone who is a member?

You can go with them they use their card and you can purchase Protein shakes and the powder with your EBT' date=' SNAP, or cash. They have vanilla and chocolate[/quote']

My sis has a costco card... Will ask her to check for me.

This is the P90X recipe for Protein shake

1 cup skim milk

1 scoop Protein Powder, such as Beachbody's whey Protein Powder

1/2 cup berries

1/2 bananna

1/2 cup ice

Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Nutrition Facts

290 Calories

2g Total Fat

27g Protein

41g Carbohydrate

5mg Cholesterol

257mg Sodium

This is the recipe I use with Pure Protein whey protein

1 cup fat free milk

1 scoop Pure Protein whey protein

1/2 cup blueberries, rasberries, and strawberries (all berries combine equals 1/2 cup)

1/2 banana

2 ice cubes

Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Nutrition Facts of whey protein and fat free milk

220 Calories

2.5g Total Fat

33g Protein

15g Carbohydrate

85mg Cholesterol

215mg Sodium

I recomend that you drink out the blender if you use it to make Protein shakes only because both recipes make 2 tall cups+. (If you can make it through 2 servings of this you will be good to go)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
