U just scared me. Lol.

I sorry:'( the only reason I say, is because I now have a five year old thanks to that patch. And if a woman gets super fertile and is still over 200. Well, just make sure every corner of that sucker sticks!!

Have to say' date=' sex is so wonderful now!! I mean, even when I was 130 and in perfect shape, it was never this good. Some say when you hit thirty, it gets better. Well, I won't be there until sept 23. But hot damn!!!!!!! It no longer hurts, I can breath!!! And how freakin awesome is it when legs can go on shoulders without turning into a choking Barney!! No more tummy in the way. Or doing close to a full sit up without breathing just to kiss. Still, I'm on the fence about being on top. Always had a hard time, being only 5'3" my legs are short. So tell me, was it as good for you as it was for me?[/quote']

Omg, choking Barney! I just scared my husband I laughed so loud.

I am really flexible. When I was a kid I used to be able to make myself into a human pretzel. That is my sex goal. Lol. In the meantime, sex is Amazing now! Best ever!!!

Does anyone know if depo is ok to have to decrease period? Doctor told me he is afraid of putting mirena because he might open me up uterus & put me in risk since I had 3csections & now gastric bypass??? I'm going to get a 2nd & 3rd opinion.

I have never used depo, but I have heard that it does. In fact, I have heard of women only getting periods like 3 times a year tops with depo.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
