** these must be done within 30 days of surgery**

Appointment with IVC filter doctor

IVC filter placed 3 days before surgery

Pick up incentive spirometer and surgery bag

Visit to the "nut", yes, my visit was strange, she asked me if I had ever killed anyone and when I informed her I was in Marines, she switched subjects- very strange person!

3 more weeks until surgery and next week is the preop with my dr and the hospital. Anxieties are surfacing and the time has flown by. This is surreal but long awaited. Looking forward to the new me....

Good times ahead after we have surgery, my plans are to go shopping a year from now and by ALL ne wsuits OFF the rack!
