Post Op Day 3, Gas Pains

I had surgery on Monday and I am home, drinking hot water and walking around house. Waiting for chewable gas-x, and other suggestions to get rid of gas pains , they are in left shoulder and chest

I had surgery on a monday, came home on a Wednesday and started eliminating my gas by Friday. I had the shoulder pain for about 2 wks. post op. I found the more I got up and moved around the better I felt.

My nurse said walk and if gas pains are in the stomach area ice if its near the shoulders a hot paid will help it. But walk.... as long as i am up and walking i have almost no pain its when i am sitting i am in alot of pain. Rny 5-31-12
